What
type of Chocolate do you use? There are many
superior names in the world of chocolate and chocolate is
definitely a matter of personal taste. We prefer to use
Callebaut Belgian Chocolate. We consider it one of the
finest chocolates available.
How
many people will the fountains serve? The small
fountain can accommodate up to 50 guests while the large
fountain will serve up to 150 guests but will serve larger
numbers with extra chocolate and dips. For very large groups
we use more than one fountain.
Who
provides the foods for dipping? We do. The fountain
will be surrounded with a varied selection of dipping items
(see the Details page)
How
much chocolate do you provide?
We provide as much chocolate as is needed to more than cover
the amount of guests
What
are the duties of a fountain attendant? The fountain
attendant will set up and remain with the fountain during
your event. Our attendants are appropriately dressed for
your occasion and identified as a Wicked - Dips employee.
They are professional and knowledgeable and will
answer any questions your guests have regarding the fountain.
What
do I have to do to prepare the fountain? We will
need access to the facility at least 60 minutes prior to
the designated starting time. The fountain will be set up
and flowing as your guests enter the event area. Since these
fountains are quite heavy when filled with chocolate it's
very important that a sturdy and level table be provided
at the event. Access to an 240v electrical outlet no more
than ten feet from the table..
Can
the fountain be used outdoors? We would normally
suggest that you use a marquee for outside functions as
the fountain needs to be kept at a constant temperature.
Maintaining a even temperature for the chocolate is crucial
for a continued smooth operation of the fountain. The fountain
location is very important inside too, so it won't be affected
by air movement, such as fans or air-conditioning vents.
As long as it's not in a draught, it will maintain its temperature
and the chocolate will run smoothly. |
